Are the MMPI-2 Well-Defined Code Types Homogeneous or Heterogeneous?

Principal Investigators: Sung H. Kim, PhD

Project Description

The present research aims to study the heterogeneity of well-defined two-point code types in a large-scale clinical sample of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory-2 (MMPI-2) profiles (N = 52,543) via Latent Profile Analysis. MMPI-2 code types refer to high-point two or three scales with the highest elevation equal to or larger than T score of 65 and are the “core of the interpretive process that provides the broad empirical correlates” (Greene, 2011, p. 148).
