The Latino Church in Southern California: Dealing with the Aftermath of Immigration Enforcement

Project Description

Heightened immigration enforcement has affected many congregations throughout Southern California. This study seeks to understand this multifaceted social issue and its effects on the Latino immigrant church from the perspective of pastors and religious leaders. Focus groups and surveys will be conducted to assess the impact of immigration enforcement on the mental health and overall well-being of church congregants, particularly families and children.
