This Week in Chapel

Join us September 27th at 10:00 AM for the Festival of Beginnings, the first chapel service of the year. Festival of Beginnings is a community-wide event, led by the deans, provost, and president of the seminary. At every Festival, we begin the academic year with a re-commitment to the mission of Fuller—to be an evangelical, multidenominational, international, and multiethnic community dedicated to the equipping of men and women for the manifold ministries of Christ and his Church.

For our online students and extended Fuller family, we will be streaming Festival of Beginnings and all future Chapel services live in immersive 360º video. To view the live stream, you can watch on YouTube Live or follow us on Facebook.

Our Pasadena community will find the Festival of Beginnings outside the library on the Arol Burns Mall.

Fuller Chapel

As a weekly time of worship, Fuller Chapel contributes to the spiritual formation of the Fuller community. It is a time that students, staff, administrators and faculty can collectively set apart to give God thanks and praise, cultivate the recognition of God’s sovereignty and initiative in our lives, observe significant days and seasons in the church year and in the life of Fuller, and in so doing place our harried schedules within the perspective of Christ’s death and resurrection—the larger purpose that informs our work as a seminary.

We seek to reflect the wealth of cultures, ethnicities, traditions, and denominations present at Fuller out of the conviction that to do so is to more fully live into our calling to be the Body of Christ in the world. By making use of a variety of worship patterns, musical styles, drama, and visual art, we seek to engage all our senses as we worship God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
