STAFF

Sue Park-Hur, Managing Editor
Sue teaches ESL classes at Fuller in addition to her Writing Center work.  She serves as the primary point of contact for students interested in Writing Center services, and distributes the editing requests among the various editors.

Kathryn Streeter, Workshop Coordinator
Kathryn came to Fuller after six years of teaching English in China.  She also works as a teaching assistant in the School of Theology, and will graduate from Fuller with her MDiv in September 2008.  Kathryn designs and teaches the Writing Workshops in consultation with Sue.

Josh Smith, Assistant Editor
Josh will complete Fuller's MA ICS program next year.  After that he will be pursuing a PhD in Intercultural Studies.  Josh and his wife both love to scuba dive and spent two years living in South Africa ministering to those affected by HIV/AIDS.

The Writing Center also has additional editors that work on a rotating basis.

LOCATION

The Writing Center is located in Stephan Hall, which is on the south side of Barker Commons (behind the Catalyst).  The only reason you would need to come to Stephan Hall, however, would be to drop off your editing payment in the box on Sue Park-Hur's office door (on the first floor of Stephan Hall, down the hall and on your right).

CONTACT

To contact the Writing Center, send an email to cal-writing@fuller.edu.  This is the ONLY way to contact the Writing Center: Our editors work on an as-needed basis, so we have no fixed hours, and the Writing Center does not have a phone number.  This arrangement helps us to keep costs down and to serve you as effectively as possible.

When you email us, explain what you need (online editing? a one-on-one editing appointment?) and what your time schedule is like.  We will then put you in touch with an editor who is available to serve you.  The more information you give us, the better we will be able to meet your needs.
