Arts

Art lost its basic creative drive the moment it was separated from worship.                       -Ingmar Bergman

Franz Kafka believed art was a means of human transformation, an axe to break up the frozen seas within our souls. Creative expression rips the mask off clichéd existence, uncovers subtle truths, awakens awe and cultivates beauty in unlikely places.  Trusting that all truth and beauty belong to God, Fuller believes Christians should learn to appreciate the revelatory power of art.

Maybe you make movies, compose music, paint life or simply create space for worship. Maybe your passion extends beyond into dance, photography, poetry or theater. Whatever your passion, Fuller's Brehm Center for Worship, Theology and the Arts desires to see people reconnect with the arts inside and outside of the church community.
