About Mike
Mike Smith is a PhD student at Fuller Theological Seminary with an emphasis in systematic theology. Having earned an MDiv at George W. Truett Theological Seminary (Baylor University), he is also an ordained Baptist minister who has served in a variety of church settings. With a special interest in ecclesiology, he is working to understand unity across radical difference in the faith.

"The Church in the Pluriverse: Open Orthodoxy for Worldwide Communion"

This article explores the post- and decolonial concept of the pluriverse as it relates to Christian orthodoxy. Affirming Christ as the common ground of Christian existence and faithfulness to Christ as the common horizon of Christian living, open orthodoxy is proposed as a practice toward unity across difference.
