Sergio Zapata Grajales (PhD ‘22) is adjunct professor of New Testament and ministry at Fuller. He is currently the preaching pastor at Amistad Cristiana Pereira and professor of New Testament at the Colombian Biblical Seminary in Medellín, Colombia. Before coming to Fuller, he served as a preaching pastor in Spanish at Friends Church in Yorba Linda, California. He studied law at Fundación Universitaria del Área Andina in Colombia and became a lawyer. He loves writing and playing soccer, and is passionate about Latin America—especially his home country, Colombia.
