美國亞太裔傳統月
在這復活節期裡，富勒神學院為帶給我們來自亞洲和太平洋群島的傳統的兄弟姊妹感謝神。他們的故事豐富而多樣，正如他們生機蓬勃又多元的文化一樣。他們的經歷包括在面對迫害和痛苦時的不屈不撓。 一般而言他們對美國和世界有無數的和豐富的貢獻。我們要特別尊榮亞洲和太平洋群島的基督徒為復活的基督在全球的見證。 1843年五月第一批日本移民抵達美國。99年後，二戰期間，美國因為種族意識形態認為他們是潛在的敵人和公眾的危害，導致超過10萬日裔美國人被監禁。 在1869年五月完成的連接東、西兩岸，橫貫美洲大陸，為美國在19世紀末和20世紀經濟發展作出貢獻的第一條鐵路，絕大部分是華人移民完成的。殘酷的工作狀況以及對這些華人勞工不公義的待遇是另一個種族剝削的例子。歷代的不公義（不公平）實例，繼續間接和直接地揭露我們應當為之悔改並尋求彌補的的情況。 我們因著我們的學生、職員、學者、以及與我們息息相關的群體帶來的亞洲和太平洋群島生動多樣的傳統而豐富起來。我們的家因著他們的見證、智慧、和工作就更加豐滿。為這個月的慶祝，我們歡喜快樂。 David Emmanuel Goatley 富勒神學院校長 Clifford L.
