Fuller Seminary Texas Announces Launch of New MDiv/MATM Cohort
Fuller Theological Seminary is offering a new hybrid learning opportunity that combines the flexibility of online coursework with the invaluable experience of in-person interaction with faculty and peers. The Fuller Texas MDiv/MATM Cohort, launching in Fall 2024, is designed to bring together Christian students of various cultural, ethnic, and church backgrounds at the campus in Houston, a city celebrated for its diversity.
Cohort participants may enroll in either Fuller’s two-year MA in Theology and Ministry program or its three-year Master of Divinity program. They’ll study together, taking courses that combine nine weeks of online learning with one week of intensive on-campus study.
President David Emmanuel Goatley shared his enthusiasm for the program, stating, “At Fuller, we are committed to equipping future leaders with a deep theological understanding and practical skills to serve effectively in a rapidly changing world. The Fuller Texas MDiv/MATM Cohort embodies this commitment by providing a learning environment that reflects the diversity and complexity of the global church. We are excited to see how this program will shape the leaders of tomorrow.”
Students in both degree programs will study full-time, making them eligible for the Texas Theological Foundation Scholarship, covering 50% of tuition.
“Whether you’re seeking to deepen your theological knowledge or prepare for ministry, the Fuller Texas MDiv/MATM Cohort offers a comprehensive and flexible path to achieving your goals,” says Wayne Park, Chancellor of Fuller Texas.
At the Houston campus, students will experience Fuller’s distinctive combination of spiritual, academic, intercultural, vocational, and emotional formation.
